The success of Takutai allows a focus on helping others.
To ensure genuine commitment, we try and contribute with more than just money. By being involved we gain insight and are able to direct support with real accuracy.
All circumstances are unique – our involvements range from sitting on governing bodies to arranging “hands on” working bees.
Understanding areas where you are prepared to help is essential – we value the ability to be flexible but our preferences are – young people, adventure pursuits, disadvantaged circumstances, historical icons, provincial emphasis, and Māori advancement.
This year, 2023, Takutai has been successful in obtaining charitable trust status. The name of this separate tax-exempt entity will be Charis. The ambition is to support social causes.
